Gen 2 Night Vision Goggles
The Sacrificial Window is a protective cover designed to shield the monocular’s main lens from potential damage, contaminants, or adverse environmental conditions. It acts as a barrier against scratches, dust, and other debris. Being “sacrificial,” if it gets damaged or excessively dirty, it can be replaced, ensuring the primary lens of the monocular remains in pristine condition.
The Helmet/Head Mount Adapter allows you to attach the monocular to a helmet or headgear for hands-free operation. To use it, first, secure the adapter to your helmet or headgear following the instructions provided. Then, attach the monocular to the adapter. The Head Mount Assembly is an alternative for those not using helmets. It’s a strap-based system that fits securely around the user’s head. Once adjusted to fit, you can mount the monocular directly to it, ensuring a stable viewing experience.
Demist Shields are designed to prevent the lens of the monocular from fogging up due to temperature changes, humidity, or breath. If you’re experiencing lens fogging, attach the Demist Shields to the monocular. They create a barrier that reduces condensation buildup, ensuring a clear view even in challenging environmental conditions. Regular use of Demist Shields can significantly improve visibility during extended operations.
